The girl’s Camp “Good Shepherd”

    The summer girl’s Camp filled his 13th year since has started to gather girls from all over Albania in a ten days program. The monastery of St. John Vladimir near Elbasan was the home for around 220 girls from Tirana, Durres, Elbasani, Vlora, Berati, Gjirokastra, Korça, Fieri, Lushnja etc.
    The program was developed from 30.6.2011 – 4.8.2011 in three periods according to different age group. The theme for this year was the Christ’s call “Come after me”.
    During their staying there the girls had the opportunities to know each other better, to create new friendships, to learn more about the orthodox faith and learning also how to be a good witness in the world.

The boy’s Camp in Zvernec

    The beautiful monastery “The Dormition of Theotokos” in Zvernec welcomed the boy’s camp and this year, from 1st of July – 3rd of August 2011. The program was different for three periods according to the age group and gathered around 240 boys 10 – 25 years old from all over Albania.
    The camp was organized from 50 youths form the Children’s office, Catechism office, the Theological Academy, clergy and theologians.
    The program was able to give the participants both spiritual and entertainment atmosphere.
